Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 6, 2026

1. Who we are

Yard Kitchen is operated by AMDR Foundation Inc, a nonprofit organization registered in Georgia, USA. Privacy questions may be sent to info@amdrfoundation.org.

2. What we collect

  • Purchase records: email address, Stripe customer and checkout identifiers, amount paid and entitlement status.
  • Essential access cookie: a signed token that keeps Volume One unlocked on your device. It does not contain card information.
  • Device-only preferences: your market list is stored locally in your browser and is not sent to us.

3. Services we use

Stripe processes payment card details; those details never reach our servers. PostgreSQL hosting stores the minimal purchase record needed to restore or revoke access. Our web host delivers the application. Yard Kitchen does not use advertising trackers or send recipe questions to an AI provider.

4. Retention and your rights

When purchase-email delivery is enabled, our transactional email provider receives your purchase email address and access instructions, including your private recovery key, to deliver your cookbook access. Delivery status is retained to prevent duplicate sends and resolve delivery problems. Purchase emails do not subscribe you to marketing. Keep your recovery key private.

Purchase records are retained for accounting, fraud prevention and access restoration. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data. Email us to make a request. Some transaction records may need to be retained where law requires it.

5. Security and changes

Data is transmitted over TLS. Access tokens are signed and stored as HTTP-only cookies. No internet service can promise absolute security. If this policy materially changes, its date will be updated here.
